belgian Chocolate store in Brussels

La Belgique Gourmande located on rue de la Colline (the street leading to the Grand place) is just one of the two thousands stores in the country selling chocolate. Wherever you may be in Brussels or Belgium you can be certain never to be far from one. Export numbers for these much in demand truffles and pralines amount around 200 000 tons yearly alone. PS: We do eat a lot of them ourselves as well 🙂

Hi,

This is one site I really enjoy visiting from time to time. Just visit this site to revive my old memories and to show people what a wonderful place Brussels is. :o)

Besides the beautiful life of Brussels, I end up talking about the Belgian chocolates and beer.

I'd really be happy if you could please put up some photographs of chocolates, chocolate-shops and beer.

Thanks and Best Regards.

Savio Rodrigues.

If you are considering opening your own shop and invest a lot of money into a new business I would definitely think about coming to Brussels for a few days and look around and fish for ideas. You won't be able to miss them as they are everywhere!

HI, If you think looking around Brussels for a few days would be beneficial for starting a business, I was thinking of going there to learn the art of chocolate making. Do they have schools that would teach classes on professional baking? I want to learn from the best -there is no point doing it any other way. Wouldn't you agree? Do you think also that working for a chocolatiere would help and would someone be willing to hire someone to be an apprentice?

You can learn the trade here quite easily as they are no shortages of courses to become "chocolatier/pêtissier" Which is an excellent idea if you want to land a job anywhere in the world or indeed better start your own business..

Might be a bit more tricky to find a course in English but I am sure they are available in a city like Brussels.

Good luck!

Vincent
