The Spinoza Car is the work of Thomas Hirschhorn, a big admirer of the famous Dutch philosopher Baruch Spinoza. Using the car as a medium, the artists is work using two kinds of elements, the profane and the spiritual reverberate the heart of Spinozist’s work in his quest for truth. The spiritual can be seen expressed through through the books and other objects bearing messages. The profane here is depicted the countless glasses taped to the car.
The car is exposed in the Horta hall of the Bozar between 26 Feb ’21 — 30 May ’21
