Art Brussels, has grown to become one of the most renowned contemporary Art expo of Europe. Since it’s inception in 1968, the galleries have multiplied, innovated, proposed a range of very trendy creations. The latest 37th edition offered it’s 25 000 visitors impressive numbers: 150 galleries representing over 2000 artists all four corners of the world.
The galleries are split into four main areas, The upcoming artists are highlighted under DISCOVERY. The PRIME section, is for the more established international artists. The all new INVITED area showcases a younger generation of international galleries that have a bold and pioneering approach to art that attempt to put into the question our traditional art gallery models.REDISCOVERY, focuses on 20th century art, this section presents artists, either living or otherwise deceased, who are have been under-recognized or forgotten by their peers.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic had cancelled this year’s 38th Edition I wanted to share a selection of my favorite works of art from their last exhibit as seen below:
